Once upon a time, the Biggs' owned an art gallery and framing shop in Aurora which, after 25 years in the business, we sold last May to retire to the country to a) be closer to the cottage, b) escape the fast pace of suburban life, and c) pursue our passions. Richard (Rick) has turned his passion, woodturning, into his full-time job and as with all things in life, practice makes perfect. His finishes are smoother and richer than ever and his creations are becoming more and more unique as he now has the time to experiment with techniques he never had an opportunity to perfect before. And I, the website manager and wife, am enjoying our proximity to ski country and golf courses alike.

We invite you to come up for a visit and to view (and/or buy) Rick's newest designs which are proudly displayed in our new home. If you're making a special trip, call first - the lathe tends to drown out the sound of someone knocking.
